Next year..Al Michaels will be teamed with Joe Theissman on MNF on ESPN and Madden will be the analyst on the marquee SNF package that NBC acquired

I get VERY tired of listening to Madden babble.

Yay! ESPN Gets Monday Night Football. Now we can watch as they **** that up too. Watch in horror as the New England Patriots get ten Prime Time games so the dolts at ESPN can drool even more.

              I'm thrilled...

I think it's better to have a Sunday Night game on local tv then Monday Night these days. And ESPN, being the top sports channel, will have programming around the game, hyping it from 6:30 til 8:30 and then have a sports center live from the game after the game and then a LIVE nfl primetime with chris berman.

I think ABC tried too much, esspicially with Dennis Miller. I think ESPN can hype the game more, on Sunday night, every can watch the NBC telecast.

btw, i heard that the official name of the game will change from "Monday Night Football" to "Football on Monday Night"? LOL is this true? I don't see why the need to change it although i'm sure everyone excpet the promos will still call it MNF.
