too early to tell but so far, he looks like a bust to me. Anyway, maybe he needs some time to develop.

TD must have seen something from him that he liked.

i think we will know what he's all about after next season.

We traded a 4th round pick to move up and get him Looking at the talent we have gotten in later rounds, that makes me sad.

Apperantly on draft day Pittsburg called him and said he was a steeler, and the call waiting clicked in and said welcome to buffalo. After the draft, Tom Donahue said they were debating to pick Him, or Josh Reed with their first second round pick. I am glad they made the choice they did.

Denney doesn't have much time to develop since he is two years older than most rookies. I was not impresed with his play. If he is not ready to contribute next year Buffalo he may be the next Eric Flowers...

I say give him more time. I thought that Wiley was giong to be a bust, but he eventually blossomed.

Wiley had some athleticism that Denney lacks IMO. Denney's best chance I think is to hit the weight room, gain 25 lbs of muscle and shift to the interior of the line. He's dead meat as a DE.

I will give him another season. He barely played last year.

i agree thurm.edwards didn't play much his rookie season and we were asking why we drafted him in the 3rd round.edwards played good enough, this past season, to strip some of the criticism off of him.i hope denney can do the same.

Lest we not forget E. Moulds first 2 years. His break out year was his 3rd year. His first 2 years he caught under 300 yards and less than 30 catches per year. He also only had a 14 ypc average and 10.4 ypc avaerage respectively. Give a player some time to get used to the NFL. I have heard it is harder on D than O.

I think Grant Irons showed more promise as a pass rusher than Denny. He deserves some additional playing time next season.

Wasn't Denny drafted for his run stopping ability?

Have him put on 15-20 pounds and play him at tackle where he'd be able to contribute as a run stopper.

Denney would need to put on at least 30 to 40 pounds to play tackle IMO. He is tall and lanky and more of a d end type. Schobel started slow but picked it up at the end of his rookie season. Of course he was playing a lot and Denney has yet to get many snaps.
