All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Nahhh. Better to get him at a multiple year deal which is affordable in case he needs to be moved to safety to replace one of the Geezers. You think he will bite at McGee's deal?
nate has always played like that.. you just never noticed before.
I wouldn't go as far as to say always, but he certainly has cost us his share of games, and has had one miserable season in 05. Still, he is a solid DB, shouldn't command too much money in the market, and we cannot afford to lose any more decent players at this point. I say offer the man a reasonable contract, give him some decent up front cash, and get his ass signed asap. Besides, as much as I love McGee, I really do not think he is capable of lining up across the opposing team's No.1 every week.
I don't want woodson either - if he is finally healthy, you know how injury prone he is?
HELL NO.
I'd rather just draft the best CB available in the early third (titan pick ha ha!!), and develop him - we'll be fine with McGee and King or whoever else + 3rd round DB if we just address the line and give our DB's shorter time to have to cover recievers. Someone on here mentioned Will Allen from the Giants - if that's an option during FA, I'm all for him provided we fix the DL (one stud DE, one stud DT)

I don't agree. Last year his numbers were sick. Crisis posted this months ago. I think he just had a bad year like the entire team. Check this out

Today, Ty Law was the shutdown corner that Nate isn't.
A shutdown corner not only prevents receptions, he prevents QB's from throwing his way. And if they do, then a shutdown corner intercepts it. If he's a great shutdown CB, he also takes it to the house. Ty schooled Nate today.
Nate may command near $2 mill here or on the open market based on availability of other corners, but do we need to pay him that much just so he can watch WR's catch the ball or drag him after he gets there late?
