To reduce value of teams tanking season as some have suggested and as some have suggested happened in SF/Houston game, the NFL ought to add a random factor to NFL Draft. Playoff teams would remain the same but the draft order would be a lottery using a combination of SOS, rank in system and a random factor. They could hold it during half time during Pro Bowl.

They ought to change amount paid rookies who have shown nothing in NFL yet but that is a different subject.

I don't think they need to do that and here's why. They use that in the NBA because one great player can turn around an entire franchise with a moderate amount of help. In the NFL, there are so many more positions to worry about and everything in play is so intricate, that no one player will be that big of a key usually.

The purpose is the integrity of the draft and I disagree whether one position in draft (Manning vs Leaf) can make a big difference as in NBA.

It would make too much sense. It is def the way to do it. Avoids teams losing on purpose

Manning wouldn't be QBing the Colts to winsd without a lot of help...football is the ultimate team sport. If manning didn't have a good O-line, Edge, Harrison, and all sorts of other talant surrounding him, he'd be getting bashed by Indy fans as bad as Bledsoe is by some Bills fans

I did not see any teams tanking yesterday in order to better their draft standing.
