We don't care if it's your last game or what channel the games will be on. We'll still have football on Sunday and Monday nights and that's all we care about.

Thank you and STFU.

I don't get the deal with Primetime. It's not going away right?

Same times, just on ESPN I guess. Sucks for those who don't have cable.

won't be on Sunday nights anymore at 7:30...no highlight shows allowed until after the last network game starting in 2006

I thought the 1987 clip of skinny Berman was hysterical, Log.

I agree, I could care less what station it's on as long as they're showing the game. I'd rather listen to the PA announcer instead of some idiot telling me the qb got sacked because he didn't have enough time to make his reads or how some football player is hero because he survived a stroke or his wife has cancer.

But you can now watch Sunday Night Football.

That'll be on NBC. :D

basically, NBC will probably have their own version of NFL Primetime. But the ESPN one with Berman will move to Monday. :(

I really don't want to wait an extra day for Primetime. NBC has some big shoes to fill.

I never really cared for Thiesman or Madden.

Any word on who the new commentators will be?

I can deal with madden.

It's theisman that annoys me. He thinks he is a football god and what is his deal with the bills. Every time he does a bills game it's always negative. Aside from this year of course. The bills could whipping everyone and he will always ind some negative thing to say about them.

I'll kinda miss McGuire. He's not the flashyiest color guy. But he's kinda funny and he's nuetrial. But oh well

I was thinking the same thing watching the game last night. It's a friggin programming change. They acted like they were going off the air. It wasn't Johhny Carson retiring for God's sake!

John Madden will have a mystery partner to be determined.http://www.timesdispatch.com/servlet/Satellite?pagename=RTD%2FMGArticle%2FRTD_BasicArticle&c=MGArticle&cid=1128769044196&path=!sports&s=1045855934844

NBC got exclusive rights to highlights or somethin, making NFL primetime unable to continue. Which really sucks.

The_Philster
01-02-2006, 11:20 AM
Not exclusive rights...they just are preventing highlight shows from showing stuff until after all the network games are played

Great, I can see it now...Have you ever seen NBC do the Olympics? If they use that formula, the drama and love fests for the Bruschis and Favres of the league will only get more sickening. They'll take it to a whole new level, with hokey-music-laden montages and hometown interviews. I'm starting to fear this.
