he is staying on with the skins as the DC.. 3 years 8 million.. i just heard it here on local news in virginia.

he may very well be one of those guys who turns out to be better in his second time around.. like belichick.

he is learning from a good head coach in gibbs.. and he looks to be the heir apparent when gibbs steps down.

The only detail that makes me think that Gregg Williams will not be a SB winner is that he is one of the most boring coaches I've ever seen.
In other words he is really predictable as a head coach. Anyway, things change and last year's Buffalo's 2nd top Defense was only his LEGACY.

I do think Williams will be better the second time around. I think he will learn a lot from Gibbs on how to be a good coach in addition to a good planner and X and O's guy.

4 of the 8 teams looking for coaches had him at the top of their lists. He must have been promised a future coaching spot at Washington to pass up a guaranteed job elsewhere.

The best thing that ever happened to Gregg Williams was getting fired from Buffalo and getting out of this cespool of a FO.

He will be a good HC somewhere else. Washington sure wants him. He's making more then most of the HC's in the league.
