    This hurts to say, but in Mularkey's defense...

    I wonder if some little soon-to-be-fired white haired jerk ordered him to play Holcomb in an attempt to save his own rear.

    Just a thought...although I think if that did happen, Mularkey should have had the kahunas to stand up to Donahoe.

          i think MM put Holcomb in to try and win over some of the vets he lost with his bafoon coaching... and to save his own ass.
