I think it's a good move... Here's why...

If MM were fired, time would be spent searching for his replacement. Meanwhile, the pool of talented coaches and assistants would dry up.

I believe MM was retained so the Bills could move forward in obtaining the assistants that Ralph and the new GM (Marv Levy) want.

How does Norv Turner or Mike Martz sound as OC?
How does Dom Capers or Jim Haslet sound as DC?

This way we can get the cream of the crop and perhaps our future head coach if MM does another face plant.

He covered the signs in his last PC. Basically all he said was he was proud to say MM was comming back :puke:

He also said the new GM will not be looking over MM's shoulder. He really emphasized the the new GM would NOT ever coach the team :idunno:
