All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Re: Marv talked Ralph into keeping Mularkey???????
I don't like Mularkey either, but I do trust Marv's knowledge of the game. If he thinks Mularkey can better preform, than perhaps he can. I am just greatful that changes are being made.

That makes me feel real good about Marv as GM
the only defense I have to that is what ML thinks is the quickest way to make this team a winner...do you ditch the HC and 16 assistants and expect a winner overnight? Nick Saban's don't grow on trees. Romeo Cronell only took Cleveland to 6 wins. All this interference from RW tells me he wants 9 or 10 wins next year. Stability may be the only route to that...not that I agree.

Re: Marv talked Ralph into keeping Mularkey???????
Clemens is already out...I doubt Sam Wyche would still around if they bring in somebody new to be OC. Jerry Gray, imo, is as good as gone. ML must have huge imput on who the new DC and OC will be.

Re: Marv talked Ralph into keeping Mularkey???????
I think Marv's thought is TD was too involved in what was going down ON the field this season and that hindered MM's performance. I think this is backed up by Ralph saying, "The GM will NOT coach this team." Ralph saying that makes me believe three things:
1. TD was basically coaching the team.
2. MM was hired as a puppet head coach.
3. Levy will not be another TD.
I'm not thrilled about MM staying. I think he's the biggest cancer to the team, but with all the news about TD and how he acted and with Levy coming in, I do feel a little confident that Levy is doing what is in the best interest of the team.

Re: Marv talked Ralph into keeping Mularkey???????
Nice. If all the reports are true, Mularkey was fighting with Wilson yesterday about Marv's inclusion with the team's organizational plans, and Marv's the one who was trying to save his bacon.
Re: Marv talked Ralph into keeping Mularkey???????
None of that was really confirmed as far as I'm concerned - I've personally not seen one media source say that Mularkey had it in for Levy. Got any links saying otherwise?

I definitely agree with bringing in Norv. Mike Archer is an interesting pick, I like it.
I think MM still has what it takes to be a good coach. It's hard to try to be something when you have a hand stuck up your ass and I think he's glad that's over. This is also why Norv would be of such value. He can correct our offense and help MM with his biggest weakness... decision making.

I've pretty much wanted Archer in Buffalo since before he went down to Kentucky. He's a 3-4 coach and a damn good one. Highly underrated and not widely known.
Truthfully, I just want Gray and that 46 out of Buffalo once and for all. I'm tired of that POS "Bend don't Break" BS.
Re: Marv talked Ralph into keeping Mularkey???????
The Marv-Mularkey thing was something someone else posted yesterday saying they heard it on ESPN from Clayton. There's no link, and who knows if it's true or not.
As for Mularkey throwing Donahoe under the bus, I doubt that happened. Donahoe sealed his own fate with the performance of this team over the past five years. However, it looks like Mularkey threw Clements under the bus...
