Former Bills QB Van Pelt joins Buffalo staff
AMHERST, N.Y. (AP) … Former Buffalo Bills quarterback Alex
Van Pelt was among six coaches hired by new University at
Buffalo football coach Turner Gill on Wednesday.
Van Pelt will be the Bulls' new quarterbacks coach and also
will serve as the team's passing coordinator. It is his first
college coaching job after serving the last two seasons a Bills
analyst on radio broadcasts.
Van Pelt also was the quarterbacks coach for NFL Europe's
Frankfurt Galaxy in 2005.
