Personally, I think that would be a really, really good move.

I agree...It's a no brainer if you ask me ....He could keep both jobs..Or bring in some one else...Too bad van pelt took ub job i though he would be a good qb coach for the bills.. I guess he needed some experience..

I was claiming Sam Wyche as the Bills Offensive Coordinator from the beginning of the season.

Anyway, the only thing that makes me think that Wyche should not be the OC is his communication issues.

He and Levy did not like each other back in the day.

Hopefully, that's all water under the bridge.

I don't get the love for Wyche. For a so called QB guru, he didn't do anything with JP that was stellar. If anything, I'd say JP was hindered by him.

Give him some time, and give at least half the blame to the crappy line play, and silly playcalling.

Its his pedigree that impresses me.

He played for Paul Brown

He coached for Bill Walsh

He's an HC with SB experience.

If you have an inexperienced HC, you want strong, experienced Coordinators.

Wyche is basically from the K.I.S.S. school, where Mularkey and Clemens (like Gilbride before them) seem to think more is better, with a Sunday game plan resembling the D.C. phone directory.

Doesn't Wyche's health hinder him from doing anything beyond QB coach?

I dont think so.

As a coordinator, he would be up in the booth on a headset, right?

Normally coordinators are on the sideline but he would have to be in the booth due to his voice problem.

You can't develop a QB in one season with a medicore line and a HC that keeps playing QB shuffle.

This year is JP's make or break season. If they improve the line and JP continues to progress, then both are safe. If upgrades are made and JP continues to stall or play poorly Wyche sinks with him, IMO.

JP did have some improvement and imagine how much better he would be had he not been benched.IMO.

I don't think he has enough voice left he would have to :shout: he had surgury done and they accidently cut a vocal chord while performing the surgury and now he has to talk with a wisper.

Sam WCHYE HAS SERIOUS HEALTH PROBLEMS, HE WAS RELUCTANT TO COME BACK TO COACHING, NO WAY HE BECOMES COORDINATOR, HE MIGHT NOT EVEN COME BACK IF HIS HEALTH WORSENS
