Jay Glazer (http://www.kffl.com/link/14), of FOXSports.com (http://www.kffl.com/link/189), reports the Minnesota Vikings (http://www.kffl.com/team/23/nfl) have chosen Brad Childress (http://www.kffl.com/player/8309/nfl), formerly the offensive coordinator of the Philadelphia Eagles (http://www.kffl.com/team/29/nfl), as their new head coach. The two sides have begun negotiations and as long as they can work out contract terms, the team is expected to name him their head coach Friday, Jan. 6, at a press conference.

I wonder if Ted's accusation of racism in the NFL hurt him? He has been passed over too many times for there not to be something else going on behind the scenes.

Childress is a West Coast Off. guy and if he had been hired by Green Bay, may have convinced Favre to stay. I think Minny's hiring of Brad helps them by taking one of the few coaches that Favre would have played for, and make it less likely that he would return. Helps the Vikings and potentially hurts the Packers even more.
