I just read that he also worked out with the Colts and Patriots, two very respectable scouting teams in the league. My guess is either Shane Matthews is out in the Spring, or the Bills are just filling gaps for traing camp.

I think Shane Matthews was already thinking of retiring. They'll have a spot open.

Tomorrow they bring in Sam Fax, but his 40 is outside the median margin.

From Wikipedia...

Casey Printers (born May 5 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/May_5), 1981 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1981) in DeSoto (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DeSoto), Texas (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texas)) is a quarterback (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quarterback) currently in his third year in the Canadian Football League (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canadian_Football_League). Standing at 6'2", 216 pounds, Printers was named Most Outstanding Player in the CFL during the 2004 season, in which he helped the BC Lions (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BC_Lions) reach the Grey Cup (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grey_Cup).
Printers played college football in 2002 at Florida A&M (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florida_A%26M) before coming north to the CFL.

For the past few years Printers has been at the center of a quarterback controversy with Veteran quarterback Dave Dickenson. Currently Printers has been offered 400'000 dollars a year for three years to continue playing with the BC Lions. However if he does sign he could be traded to a weaker CFL team such as Winnipeg.

I think 400K is vet min in the NFL? Make that 400k Canadian, and I can see why he's pushing himself through the NFL.

College 2002: Spent his senior year at Florida A&M after playing the previous three years for Texas Christian University. Personal Best words of advice Casey ever received was “Nothing is ever as good as it seems or as bad as it seems but in reality it falls right in the middle.” Notes most memorable football moment as winning back to back conference championships while at TCU.

Ticat posted this about a month ago. Someone did a search for it and tried to steal his thunder.

He got hurt last season.
I wouldn't touch him with a 10-foot pole, he whined and complained how he wasn't let back in by the Lions when he was healthy.

Mathews does not add anything. Bills need a less expensive QB with potential not a overpriced QB coach on the field.

And the Dolphins. He's making the rounds for sure. He's worth a shot. He has enough size. You have to assume he's accurate with his completion percentage. He'll be 25 years old this year.
