Just watching the sports and WGRZ Ch 2 News sports director Ed Kilgore says that Nate will command 8 or 9 mill./season too much for the BILLS to spend on him. he also said that even though Moulds wants to return he thinks that he'll be a salary cap cut.

So we franchise him, trade him to Houston and get Carr (after Houston restructures his deal) and a 5th rounder for giving him to Houston at a reduced rate.

We will be fine without him.

I'm not so confident. Unless we move Vincent back to corner.

"The playmaker" is as good as trade bait. He'll likely be franchised then traded.

Why exactly would we want Carr?

tag is 5-6 mil.

If we want him he will be here at least 1 more year.

Im not worried either way I just hope we get something for him.

The way I see it the Bills DL can be reworked to handle the load next year, and FA should produce some decent DTs.

If Brick Ferguson doesn't fall to the Bills, trade down a couple spots, pick up another draft pick, and snag CB/S Jimmy Williams from VT. Then trade up the 2nd round pick into the bottom 1st for UGA OG Max-Jean Gilles.

Between McGee, Kevin Thomas, Lawyer Milloy, Troy Vincent and newly acquired Williams, I think we'll cover it.

Any chance of using Clements as trade-bait to move up to take Brick?

Rumor is that the franchise tag for CBs will be lower in that range, but nothing is final yet. However, if the tag is only $5.5-6 million, the Bills would be foolish not to tag him. Let him play 2006 at the franchise tender and deal with him in 2007 with hopefully a new CBA

BTW: He will NOT get $8-9 million/yr......

You mean you didn't hear? The phenom with a whopping 18-46 career record is Buffalo's new answer at QB!

T. McGee has been one of our best defensive players this year... next year, depending on who we draft our d frontline is anchored by schobel, LB's TKO and posey, DB's T. McGee and lawyer... and of course TV

k. Then who?

I don't have the list of FAs handy so I don't know. But if we are forced to move TV over, it will be even worse of disaster of a season that it already will be w/ MM as coach.
