That's degrading.

I don't think that's degrading ... Cowher was really young when he was working under LeBeau and now he's one of the top coaches in the league.

Perhaps if the job switch was made immediately (i.e. Cowher directly promoted to DC and LeBeau demoted to position coach), but after this many years ... I don't think much is wrong with it.

LeBeau told Cowher he was not interested in returning to the team where he served as an assistant coach for five seasons. As noted previously, LeBeau is considering taking a similar position with the Buffalo Bills.
