All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Why would LeBeau go and be a position coach under a coordinator who was a position coach when LeBeau was coordinator? To go and work for a guy who used to work for you?

That's degrading.
I don't think that's degrading ... Cowher was really young when he was working under LeBeau and now he's one of the top coaches in the league.
Perhaps if the job switch was made immediately (i.e. Cowher directly promoted to DC and LeBeau demoted to position coach), but after this many years ... I don't think much is wrong with it.

Steelers | Butler Being Added - posted at KFFL (http://nfl.kffl.com)
7:58 PT: The Post Gazette reports after being turned down by Dick LeBeau, Pittsburgh Steelers coach Bill Cowher has hired former Browns LBs coach Keith Butler as his new LBs coach. "He's a great coach and a great person," said former Browns defensive coordinator Foge Fazio. LeBeau told Cowher he was not interested in returning to the team where he served as an assistant coach for five seasons. As noted previously, LeBeau is considering taking a similar position with the Buffalo Bills.
Wonderful news!!!!!! Great find Bert!!!!!!
See me here pushing you
If I then deny I do
Contemplate or wish away
If I ask you not to stay
The biggest thing we learned from the Bills is that they are a resilient bunch and did what they had to do to win instead of past years where they fold like a cheap lawn chair.
