Boy talk about a risk.

RICHMOND, Va. - After being dismissed from the Virginia Tech football team, quarterback Marcus Vick told The Virginian-Pilot he will enter the NFL Draft.
"It's not a big deal,” Vick told the newspaper. “I'll just move on to the next level, baby."

Asked by the newspaper if that meant he would enter the NFL draft, he said, "Yeah, definitely."

My prediction- he will go undrafted and then picked up as an UDFA by the Falcons.

If Schaub continues his development, he will have to start with someone sometime soon. He will be too valuable (and expensive) to keep as a backup, in 2-3 more seasons and instead of loosing him to free agency in a few years, they could deal him for some top draft picks.

With Marcus Vick as a 3rd stringer, they could try and develop him over a few seasons. Maybe NFLE for a season or two. Big brother can try to keep him reigned in, and mentor him on & off the field. Maybe even come up with a good alias, like Pete Paraguay when he checks into the local Motel 6 for some action.

Plus they won't have to change the playbook all that much.

For the cost of an UDFA, ($250K) and the talent upside, it might be worth the chance. Low risk, potential high reward

If anything, Vick is a bigger jerk.

Reguardless of where he goes, he'll end up as another "Problem Child"
