All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Giles will not go #5 id be shocked if he went in the 1st.
LenDale White maybe a real option for the packers, that kid is the next Bettis. But in all likelyhood Hawk or Williams will be their pick.
I think Brick is a real possibility, Mario Williams would be fantastic but I think he will likely be gone.
I think we need to go Best Dlineman on the board and not worry about Tackles - Tackles should be acquired through Free Agency, and Guards in the second to early third rounds then a Safety in the fourth.

Well this is the year to do it, a lot of quality OL in FA. I think DL should be our priority.
That being said Brick is the only exception I would make. a wall of a LT, if he drops to us id prob have to make that pick.
I gotta disagree - we can't go for depth at Tackle with our crappy D line when the majority of what I've seen posted is that Guards don't start going till the second/third rounds.

If we go DT at 8, we will be reaching as of now. Ngata is probably the best and projects to a late 1st at this point. Things can change but he had a horrible bowl game, Rod Wright was even worse. Claude Wroten is the best DT as of right now, IMO.

Your stuck in a few positions. And there is a very very good chance that the players at those 2 positions are FAR from worthy of a 8th overall.
That means you can reach for one, trade down, or go for another position.
I am only not a fan of reaching, thats how you build a team of crap.
Super Mario could be there, Kiwi might even be. Either could be a bigtime player. Deangelo may fall now, You could take a hard look at McGahee, who decides when to play and when not too and has a MAJOR problem agent in Rosenclown.
I still feel strongly that BOTh Lewis and Davis are something very very special at TE, but it isnt really a need at all.
There could be bigtime LB's at 8, like Hawk, Greenway, Hodge even.
We also may need a DB if Clements leaves. Williams or Huff may be there.
There is a slim possibility that Young drops to 8 if he looks bad in workouts, Im not a huge fan of his throwing mechanics.
Theres just too many players who are too good at too many positions for us to reach for a DT, if D'Brick falls fine, but outside of him, theres no OT's worthy of a top 10 pick, and ABSOLUTELY no G's.
If it all looks the way I think it will, and we truly are stuck on a DT and OT first and foremost, I would argue for a trade down. BOTH DT and OT look to be very very strong in the mid-late 1st to mid 2nd round.
Ngata. I think he has great potential, but with the expected loss of Nate i think we should be looking closer at Huff. He showed the other night he knows how to make plays, and i would mind that strength and knowledge in the secondary
