Buffalo Bills defensive coordinator Jerry Gray has interviewed for the head coaching job with the Houston Texans, but Denver Broncos offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak is likely to get the job. Gray hasn't been released yet by the Bills, but it can't be a good sign that his line, linebackers and secondary assistant coaches all got the boot. ... I wonder if one of the prerequisites for Major Applewhite being hired over the weekend as offensive coordinator at Rice was that he promised to junk the playbook he used as quarterbacks coach for the 2005 Syracuse Orange. ... Does Kubiak need a DC? It would be nice if the Bills could rip off Texas like all those teams did in expansion draft.Comment
