The Lightning parted ways with captain Dave Andreychuk on Tuesday, placing the 42-year-old on waivers.
If Andreychuk isn't claimed, the 23-year NHL veteran will be assigned to the Springfield Falcons of the AHL, but the Lightning said they won't require him to report. http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/news/story?id=2286789&POLL232=100000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 The Sabres should pick him up and then he should retire a Buffalo Sabre where it all began for him
It's these new rules the old players can't keep up with the younger faster players
