All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Pros:Has the size to totally take away an opponents inside running game, If he turns in a 4.8 40 in the combine he will prove himself to be an extremely rare athlete and possible top 5 pick, has excellent lower body strength which allows him to make plays in the back field and disrupt any gameplan, His defensive line coach at Oregon claims that Ngata is the best athlete to ever come through the school, Upside through the roof and could be an instant elite DT
I think the Bills could address the OL in FA and later rounds,...and I mean real FA; not the Kriss Fariss or Greg Jerman type pick-ups.
Are you guys willing to take ANOTHER chance of a top 10 tackle?? I'm not.
Mario Williams will NOT fall to #8..unless he has a horrible combine.
D-Brick might fall...all depending if the Jets grab him.
Our best choice at #8 is Ngata hands down.
Also, doesn't it just make ya sick that we could be sitting with the #3 pick right now if we had lost ONE more game? With our strength of schedule, we would've been picking 3rd if we finished 4-12. I know we can't dwell on it, but just something to think about.
With the 8th pick in the 2006 NFL Draft...the Buffalo Bills select Haloti Ngata...DT OREGON.

if we were to pick third we would be paying who ever we got (most likely d'brick) mike williams money at least. no thanks.
We can get a good run stuffing 2 gap tackle in free agency like Grady Jackson, Ryan Pickett, or even Ma'ake Kemoeatu of Baltimore (huge guy that's very tough to move). Conversely, there's no pass rusher available in free agency that will compare to Super Mario, nor is there a left tackle prospect that is on the level of Ferguson.
