SAN DIEGO (Jan. 22, 2003) -- Democracy rules in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' offense. Everyone gets the "damn ball."

Even Keyshawn Johnson has come to accept as much, along with the others on Brad Johnson's lengthy list of pass-catching targets.

Receivers, tight ends, and running backs all get into the act at one point or another. You might say that lining up for a pass play as a Buccaneer has a lot in common with fishing -- in an aquarium. Eventually, you can count on a catch.

"We realize that you can never get down [about not getting the ball]," wide receiver Keenan McCardell said. "Just continue to play and just believe that your play is coming, because in this offense the ball goes anywhere and everywhere.

"That's probably something that a lot of guys on other teams aren't used to. They're used to being two guys in the passing game or three guys in the passing game. We have five or six guys that can be in the passing game at all times. Everybody's going to touch the ball."
