Tennessee Titans defensive end Jevon Kearse will visit with several specialists during the next week and might have another operation on his left foot.
Kearse broke the fifth metatarsal in his left foot in the season opener. He returned for the final three games of the season, but was hampered by pain in the foot. Tests showed the foot healed properly.
But coach Jeff Fisher said Thursday that a chance for injuring the foot again remains, and that is why the Titans and their doctors have suggested surgery in which bone is grafted onto his foot to fill any holes around the screw originally placed in his foot in September.
