I just hope it's not Bobby April. While he'd prolly be good at it, who would ever be able to replace him? :ill:

100% happy. He should have been fired in the first place...

I just wished he had ther where with all to quit when TD was fired. It put the Bills behind the 8 ball in going after head coaches...Puts an end to the worst GM and Head Coach eras in Bills History

By how long a week or 2. They have plenty of time..

I don't like the direction the Bills are going but at least Mularkey isn't part of the travel plans. It would be a guranteed wasted season then.

Wilson probably made the decision for him so Mularkey would have enough and quit so Ralph wouldn't have to pay his salary. Ralph is a cheap bastard.

If he didn't have the heart to be the Bills head coach then I wish he would have never joined the team.

A lot has happened in a week. Many teams have already interviewed candidates and mulling over the options and some have even hired some head coaches. The Bills are behind everyone else. One week this time of year is a lot...

I was willing to give him a chance to show what he could do out from under Donahoe's shadow. However if he is too weak to handle the pressure from the media and fans of the Bills, than screw him. Good luck finding a head coaching job anywhere that doesn't come with the same or more pressure! Big  baby!

i'm glad he got out now before we had another losing season. at least we can start rebuilding now instead of next year. it needs to be a serious rebuilding, too, it wouldn't have worked out keeping half of the old philosophy and bringing in part of a new one.

I voted yes, because he gave you the best chance to win in 06.

I think this was best for everyone involved. He didn't have the support of the Fans and I think the players gave up on him. I liked MM but at the same point I think TD seemed to always look for a coach that he could put a leash on and lead around. That is not something you should look for in a head coach. So we get to start all over. I just hope we keep some of the assistants. I think it would be a travesty if the next coach that came in here got rid of Bobby April, Sam Wyche, and Mouse McNally.

I'm with you on that one. Enough of the giving a new guy a chance. Bring in someone with experience.

it's better this way, IMO...I think it's kinda like what happened with Wade..Ralph ordered Wade to fire Ronnie Jones...Wade refused...and they both got canned. Ralph and Marv had MM fire some coaches, like Clements...MM did as he was told...but feels bad about it...feels like he stabbed a friend in the back...and resigned. He wasn't strong enough to be a head coach, IMO if that's the case

Why is it when things are going good football is a "business" but when things go bad people can't seem to want to treat it the same way :shakeno:

Ralph is to cheap to fire him. This way the bills save 3 million. Hopefully he spends that on a good proven coach.
