While I wouldn't take quite as harsh a view and would not be opposed to the Bills going with a top young coach that Marv could work with and help along, I do agree with the overall thrust of this article.

R.Wilson does have to put up more cash for his HC and staff and RW and ML have to make a good coaching pick here and let him do his job as much as possible. That's the only way that they are going to get things turned around quickly. Otherwise, things really could get worse before they get any better.
Those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it. And, thus it was that they surrendered their freedom; not with a bang, but without even a whimper.

Agreed 100%. But fans don't want to hear the reality or the truth. The truth is ralph needs to sell the team. We need to get an owner more in touch with todays NFL. We need one with deeper pockets (it is my understanding ralph is one of the owners with the least amount of money personally) and will spend what it takes to build a winner.

"There are only 32 of these NFL head jobs, and there's no guarantee Mularkey will ever get another one. It's a pretty powerful statement when someone walks out the door and says, "No thanks."

He just realized that he was a lameduck coach this year like we all figured and he should have been fired. He took the coward's way out, instead of sucking it up and proving why they should keep him.
