...according to Ralph

Well, considering the O & D coordinators are gone, might Bobby April get a shot?

That would make me very happy indeed.........

I'd be all for that!

Considering April's success here the last 2 years... How hard the ST plays for him... He's obviously a good teacher, taking a wretched ST unit, and turning them into #1 and #2 the last 2 years...

Oh, and MARV'S own background... Hmmm.....

and marv was a ST coach before he came to buffalo

I like April alot but imo enough is enough already. We need exp....

Marv Levy to be our next coach.

I am ok with that... then he can continue to focus on ST, and hire OC and DC's to run the o and d. This might be good, rather than getting an coach in here who wants full control over his side of the ball... he becomes a game manager.

April has been around a long time. I'm happy he's at least getting a shot.

Jerry Gray is a candidate as well, according to ESPN.

From ST's coach to HC? Please don't let this happen.

I don't believe it! Why would they fire him as DC only to hire him as HC. Sounds more like speculation.

Beats me, several sites are reporting that he's a candidate. Some are also saying that April is a candidate. It's all speculation at this point in time.

April is definitely an interesting possibility, especially given R.Wilson's comments about not wanting his HC to get too into micromanaging. I wonder if April would be able to oversee the STs while still being the kind of HC that Wilson talked about.....

I would hate to see Jerry Gray get the job, although he will almost certainly get an interview. His play-calling this season was awful, as was his inability to get his players to respond to coaching--even more than the offense, the defense kept making the same mistakes over and over and over again and they didn't have the excuse of not having the veteran leadership and talent on that side of the ball that the offense did. How many times did the opponent score right before halftime or on their first possession of the second half this season????

Yeah, I think it sounds like speculation. Plus, they do have to interview minority candidates. If they have a lock on someone already (which I hope to god is not Haslett), "considering" Jerry Gray would at least superficially satisfy that requirement.

Jerry Gray is the token minority interview.
