Jan. 22, 2003) -- Between head coach Bill Callahan and quarterback Rich Gannon, the Raiders could have the most high-profile coach-player tandem in the National Football League. Instead, despite all the success these two have had, they remain as low profile as you can get in this league. They not only don't seek the spotlight -- they don't like it.

Of course, the Raiders don't have a shortage of stars. Besides the receivers, you have defensive standouts in Rod Woodson and Charles Woodson, Bill Romanowski and Sam Adams. John Parrella is an interesting character and a good story. You have guys on the offensive line like Lincoln Kennedy and Frank Middleton. Middleton's become a quasi-star, because he's been talking some trash and can back it up.
