Extra points

Buffalo is the latest team with a coaching vacancy, and Ron Rivera's name has come up. Rivera is still in the running at St. Louis. He can't be interviewed until the playoff run ends and appears to be a secondary candidate. … Robbie Gould has supplanted Jeff Jaeger as the franchise's most accurate field-goal kicker with at least 25 attempts. Gould is 21 of 27 for 77.8 percent. From 1996 to 1999, Jaeger went 63 of 83 for 75.9 percent.

I'm going to change the title since it doesn't say we're going to interview him. :D

Thanks, Log.

Obviously he can't interview yet, but we can all read between the lines. He'll be coming in to talk to Marv and Ralph as soon as their playoff race comes to an end.

Why can't he interview? Mangini is interviewing with the Jets tomorrow...win or lose tonight.

:idunno:

That was my question earlier with Kubiak (mentioned earlier today).

A few years back the Bills weren't even allowed to talk to Weiss or Lewis until their post season activity came to a halt.

I wonder if it is more team by team policy, then it is league policy. Certain teams probably prefer to remained focused on the season at hand.

Nope, they changed the rule over the last year or so.
