Yup, good for him, whether he goes to the Packers or stays at UB. He will be an NFL head coach some day.

Mike McCarthy is the real protagonist on Mike Sherman's success.
For some reasons Van Pelt broke many Dan Marino's passing records and his color comments background could only make him more interesting.
He didn't have a true opportunity to shine in the NFL and for sure, he can give great support to any QB or inclusive to any OC.
In summary, Van Pelt seems to bring a very possitive environment.

Van Pelt is miuch brighter than many of the ex-jock analysts and would make any excelleht NFL coach.
