I am suprised we don't hear Dan Hennings name.

For our HC. I am not saying I want him, but he has some HC exp, His offense is on the verge of being in the NFC Championships 2 out of the last 3 years (Maybe superbowl) and he was our OC under marv for a year I believe?

Marv really likes the guy so I am suprised we haven't heard his name brought up in regards to our HC situation.

Someone suggested it in a thread not too long ago, and I've never seen so many "ROFL"s and "LMAO"s so quickly before.

And they want Haslett I bet? Funny how fans want to stay in a 'comfort zone' and that is all the signing of a haslett would be

No way does that moron come here...he tried to run a 2-TE base offense when we had no TEs who were even average

Was that him or Joe Pendry? And if he did you can bet MARV pushed for it because he doesn't and hasn't pushed that in Carolina. The Panthers are my #2 team so I follow them closely and Henning has been HUGE on Running the ball, using playaction and using a Fullback.

                It was Henning....1997
                Our top 3 TEs were
                Lonnie Johnson
                Tony Cline
                Rob Coons

Jay Riemersma got little action at that stage of his career
..Pendry came in under Wade in 98

Ahhh yes...Frrrrigggin Lonnie Well What I know of henning since then is he has done very well coordinating balanced attacks esp in Carolina. They are in their 2nd NFC Championships in 3 years. Not too shabby.

Agreed! He's a dufus, a one trick pony. He's lucky in Carolina. They have the personnel to do what he can coach. He hasn't proven he can do offence any other way if he doesn't have the personnel to run his offence. I wouldn't trust him to be able to start from scratch and build his offence either. How long would it take? Two years? Three years? More? Do we want to keep on sucking that long?

Both Henning and Pendry were miserable failures in Buffalo. I think Henning learned to coach offence in Washington under Joe Gibbs in Gibbs' previous stint as Redskins head coach. Washington always ran a two tight end/no fullback offence, the Henning trademark.

wasn't he already run out of town once. I'm sure he'd like to come back and have it done again.
