They said Ralph was furious that Marv didn't come flat out and say there was no way he was going to be the HC. They also said the top two candidates are Sean Payton and Jim Haslett.

I didn't see that.

But i thought Marv released a statement over the weekend saying that he was not going to be the HC.

I knew hasslet was a canadate but this is the first i heard of payton.

I would really love to know where some of theses media guy's/girls get their inside info, because some of the crap they say just makes no sense.
Why would Ralph be furious?? It's not like Marv being indecisive would chase any prospective coaches away, that report just makes no sense.

Glenn Parker was on WGR on Friday and he was hyping the hell out of Payton. They were saying that Payton losing his play calling duties was more the result of Fassel being a control freak that anything else.

Payton would be great but wouldnt it be nice to get an HC with some HC experience for once?

Irrevelant. He's not interviewing to be an OC. I also read in an article that April was given the first interview for the job.
