All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!

With Payton getting the Saints job, does this mean...
...that it is pretty much known around the league that Sherman probably gets the Bills job? I mean, from what I was reading, Sherman was really liked in the Saints organization and was the frontrunner for the position. The only thing that has changed over the past 2 days is that the Bills called and talked to him about an interview. I don't know...I'm probably looking into it too much, but I hope I'm right!

P.S. - No fuggin' Jauron!
Sherman is soft and has done nothing spectacular since Holmgren left besides beat up on the NFC north. At least Jauron would come in here and instill some discipline which is what this team needs. Then we can hire a good OC and were set.

I honestly don't think Sherman has done enough to warrant all the praise he has received on this board and he has even alienated some players, a la Mike Mularkey. BUT, he is probably the best option for this team and I would not mind him at all as the head coach.

What are you talking about that he alienated some players? From everything I've heard, the GB players were pissed that he lost the job and everybody loved him? Please let me know where you heard that?

Although his record doesn't prove it, I think Jauron can be a winning coach. That being said I'd take Sherman and maybe Haslett over him. Sherman is definitley on top of my list but I can't decide b/w Jauron or Haslett for 2nd best HC candidate..
