So, if this happens tomorrow...it fills our minority requirement. look for the Head Coach to be announced on Friday or Monday.

Maybe they will recommend whomever they hire as Head Coach to interview Lofton as OC.

Lofton would be a good OC imo.

Sign Lofton as a WR coach. Contact him for the HC position, but then sign him as a WR coach.

Why would he want to take a lateral position to a team which gives him less exposure?

He's signed to the Chargers. Not eligible for a lateral move. He can be promoted to an OC position tho.

It was just on the news...they have yet to receive permission to talk to Lofton. Not a knock against Lofton but it tells me RW is trying to do it on the cheap if he is serious about Lofton.
