View Full Version : One thing I would love about Sherman as HC

I'm not really pro or anti-anybody at this point, but I lean toward Sherman right now as the best candidate. One thing I really like is that he is apparantly fearless in sticking up for his players. Do you guys remember the cheap hit Warren Sapp put on that GB guy during the int return? Sherman got right up to Sapp's face after the game and told him what he thought of him and the hit, prompting Sapp into a hissy fit. He didn't care that Sapp is younger, bigger, etc...He didn't hold back. Imo, players would love a coach like that.

Yes that has been covered. But I agree with you.

I want Sherman for the simple fact that I have actually heard of him, unlike Williams and Mularkey before they were hired.

SHERMAN IS ONE TOUGH SOB - HE WOULD HAVE WHIPPED SAPP. BUT HE RAN AWAY LIKE A SCHOOL GIRL AND SAPP CHASED HIM TO THE TUNNELL. THAT WAS HILARIOUS......

I saw that game on live TV. He got right back in Sapp's face, but was smart enough to walk away when Sapp basically challenged him to a fight.

Don't be making up BS. :negrep:

Sapp = thug Which of course, meant that Stuart Scott stuck up for him.
