All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
I think so. I think that it's safe to assume that Lofton won't get the job. REports are conflicting on whether Jauron or Sherman get the job. The suspense is killing me.
Judging from their past performance, they always end up hiring the one underdog guy.
Between Marvin Lewis and John Fox, they hired Gregg Williams.
Between Jim Fassel and Ted Cottrell (or was it someone else), Mularkey came out of nowhere.

Get ready for Coach Lofton.
Don't even f around like that. I haven't really followed Lofton's coaching career, but it's obvious that this team needs experience. I don't think that Lofton brings that to the table.
So true, this is what makes the Rooney rule so sad. I would be more offended as a black man to be granted an interview because it was required.
there's another thread discussing this- link below- but I think the hope of the candidates and the NFL is that a minority will be brought in for a "token" interview and the team will then realize that they're the best man for the job.
I know that we have a nice mix of ethnicity here and would like to know what people of all races think about the Rooney Rule.
Personally I think they should just call it the Token rule. It seems to me that any minority coach would feel like it was nothing more than a slap in the face to be the "token" minority
