He said that if the Bills were to hire Sherman, we would only need to pay half his salary because Green Bay would pay about 1.7 mil per season. This is what he said on the radio on WGR550.

Clayton said ...Clayton said....yadda yadda yadda.. I've always thought Sean Salisbury to be a dick, but he's definitly right on about Clayton. Clayton has zero athletic ability, was probably made fun of by all the jocks, and some how that warped the wiring in his head. He became a sports journalist by default. He needed money to support his stalking habits.

The guy is a tool for sure, but he does know his stuff.

He may be a pencil necked geek but he is more reliable than all the former jocks ESPN employs

He works for ESPN and is one of their main writers. If anything happens in the NFL world, they're usually the 1st to report it.

Him, Mortensen, and Pasquerelli...

I'd give Pasquerelli more credibility than Clayton.

I wish Salisbury would get his hands on that little turd.

I would too, but all 3 of them are good. I'd give Mortensen the most credit out of the 3.

Of All the guys that ESPN has - the one's who do NFL Matchup are the best - and any one of them probably knows more about football than all of the non-former athletes they've got (Clayton, Pasquerelli, Stuart Scott)...

WHo does that show now? I haven't seen it in a while. I'd assume Jaws is still a part of it?

ESPN?

I say f**k them all. I hate ESPN. I absolutely loathe them. I'm an NFL Network man myself.

NFL Network is the greatest channel in television history. It is absolutely awesome, it totally trumps ESPN.

I wish the NFLN would add a bit more fresh programming. I get tired of reruns all the time.

It's probably true...the salary thing.

I heard the same thing about Haslett. Whever hires him gets to split his salary with New orleans. I have no idea why.

Perhaps Clump can shed some light on it.

Maybe this delay has nothing to do with salary toward Sherman...maybe it's about power. Sherman might want some "GM type" duties??? Ralph and Marv may be balking at that???
