Running.

The Pittsburgh Steelers ran more often than any other team in the league; the Denver Broncos were second.

Mr. Alexander ran for his fair share this year (league leader) & low and behold the seahawks are there.

Running = Clock Control

It also helps your D rest and be ready for those final minutes that determine close games.

We really need to build our O-line up to no end and let WM know that he is on double secret probation, no more taking games off to save himself for a future employer.

Anyone remember what the double secret probation is from? Faber college annals.

Strong running game and good defense helps. Carolina and Seattle will come down to the offense side of the ball and with Steve Smith and Shaun Alexander this will be a fairly high scoring game. Pittsburgh and Denver game will be lower in points but the Steelers proved against Indy they can put points on the board and fast. Debnver has they're hands full with this team.

Ball control offense, solid defense, good special teams, winning the turnover battle, AND - not having TD and MM on your team's payroll.
