If Ralph is still worried about saving money at this point of his life then he really DOESN'T care about winning.

I don't get it... if you were an owner, wouldn't you want a CHAMPIONSHIP to make you immortal forever in your teams history, or try to save money?

Wasn't the Hindenberg disaster on Marv's 44th birthday?

Wasn't Ralph the one who wanted to sign Sherman according to news reports?

It appears that Marv and whomever broke the tie (Tom Modrak?) between the two thought Dick Jauron has the better plan.

Marv was getting a senior discount on Coffee when it went down. Oh the humanity.

And what better plan would that be? Starting Kelly Holcomb all of next season?

No idea. I am sure all interviewees told Ralph and Marv who they were planning on bringing in, who they were planning on keeping, what type of offense & defense they wanted to run and what changes they wanted to make in team.

I have no idea if Jauron thinks JP has potential, is not ready or needs to be traded but quite a few who are JP-1st appear to think he would annoint JP as the next Kelly/Farve hybrid.

Sherman is not very appealing without his DC who is probably going to Rams.

                          Sherman was our best option.
