    One good thing about Jauron

    Now I totally expect the team to suck. So if they don't, great! If the do, I expected it.

                      Jauron's an excellent defensive coach, so I think we'll gey better on D. We already have great special teams. If we bring in a really good OC, I can see us getting better quickly.

                      But getting a top knotch OC is the key.

                        If he is such a great defensive coach why did Detroits defense suck so bad. They had some decent talent there...I am also worried how veterans like Spikes is taking this news. He came here to be part of a winner.

                          Good question. Let's take a look at his "vaunted" defenses:

                          In Jax, it ranked 19th, 15th, 24th and 25th.
                          As HC in Chicago it ranked 30th, 16th, 13th, 25th and 12th.
                          In Detroit as DC it ranked 20th.

                          Not once was his defense in the top 10.

                          Hmmm...yeah, I can see why he's considered a defensive guru.
