Re: cOULD THIS GUY BE THE NEW OFF COORD ?
The limited times that Olsen called plays in Detroit the past 2 seasons, were the occasions that the offense actually looked productive.
Steve Mariucci and Ted Tollner at the reigns ... futility.
Olsen at the reigns ... mediocrity with some scoring.
Take it for what it's worth ... but he at least seemed to have a knack for straying from the "plan" to call plays that best utilized the skill players' talents.

Take a page out of the Steelers' book, will ya?
Players:
Jeff Hartings - former Detroit Lion
Charlie Batch - former Detroit Lion
Chidi Iwouma - former Detroit Lion
Clint Kriewaldt - former Detroit Lion
Travis Kirschke - former Detroit Lion
Barrett Brooks - former Detroit Lion
Front office:
Ron Hughes - former Lions director of player personnel
Bruce McNorton - former Lions player
Ray Horton - former Lions DB coach
Dick LeBeau - former Lions player
So you see a trend here?
Be happy with Jauron, and hire Olsen ... you'll be playing in XLII in Arizona. Bank on it.

Considering the current trend, I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that the current D-Line coach for the Arizona Cardinals will be our next Defensive Coordinator. I'm sure he has a name, but I'm to friggin' depressed right now to go figure it out.Still searching for that offensive rhythm.
