Good article on DJ, insight into the OC situation

There's still an outside shot that the 61-year old Wyche will take over as the Bills' new offensive coordinator. If not, expect San Diego Chargers receivers coach Jim Lofton, or Indianapolis Colts assistant head coach/quarterbacks’ coach Jim Caldwell to get a look. The Bills and Jauron can't go wrong with any of those three guys as their offensive coordinator.

I'm not sure about them. Wyche would be a great choice, but his health issues are a definitely concern. Out of those 3, Jim Caldwell intrigues me the most.

I would be happy with any of those 3. Lofton would be the last choice because of lack of experience.

Lofton has zero experience. I'm sorry, I know you have to start being an OC somewhere, but Buffalo needs to stop being a training grounds for 'up and coming' coaches.

Caldwell could easilly be the OC in Indy, but he is stuck behind the old fart and hell....manning runs the team anyway.

I'm rootin for Henderson as DC.

I don't think we can go wrong with Wyche, Caldwell, or Heimerdinger as OC. I know Lofton is a real smart dude, and he could be a home run, but DJ is enough of a ?? that I'm not sure its a great idea to gamble on coordinators too this year. I'm not pissed about the DJ hiring as long as he assembles a cast of characters that have some record of success.
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?

Forget about Caldwell. He's Asst. Head Coach. OC is not a "promotion" so the Colts won't let him go.

Wonder if Wyche and Dick were in Cincinnati at the same time.

Why not. It's an old boy love fest at OBD. May as well promote him. I'm sure he'll be cheap too, just like Ralph likes it.

you're worried about Wyche's health? I'd be interested to see what you think of the Golden Boys.

At least if they bring in Wyche he is like, a young buck.

Wyche has heart problems and was talking about needing a transplant last year. Plus, he can't yell with his vocal cord problem.

Hmmm, I guess he could always take the Mularkey approach and just stand there, dumbfounded.

Great, our owner is senile, our GM is not far from the owner in age and our OC is sick. Our vet players are old as well. Lets beef up our DL by signing George Foreman , Roberto Duran, Sugar Ray Leonard, Tommy Hearns and Marvin Hagler. Make Jim Kelly come back and play QB.
