For obvious reason$... Terrell Owens, Antwaan Randle El, Keenan McCardell and Koren Robinson are not included in this list.

I don't know...What about Reggie Wayne though he will likely get tagged. Plus he is probably spoiled by playing indoors and may not like the cold

What about Jurvicious?

Sorry, I forget to include Reggie Wayne in the "forbidden list"

He is arguably a top WR and it seems that he will get all the money he needs to "feed" his family...

Moulds

Out of that list I say Givens.

Agreed. Pursue Moulds at a much lower price...

Burleson, he set all kinds of records at UNR. He had a bum knee this year, so he shouldn't be as expensive. I think he'd be a great 2 besides Lee Evans. However, if getting Moulds to restructure would be the best case. He was an animal in the last 3 games.

Why screw Moulds?

If Moulds stays, there's still a chance they will sign a FA receiver because Josh Reed might not be back. Burleson or Jurvicious would make excellent #3 receivers. Roscoe Parrish is more likely a #4 in 4 WR sets.

I've read several reports that this year saved Reed's job in Buffalo, as far as him being resigned. I would love to see Moulds back and sign Burleson. I like Jurivicious too, but NateB is much younger.

No way. Burleson, Evans and Moulds are all potential #1 WRs. With the money it would take to have them all, the OL would not be sufficiently addressed.

Out of that list, Nate would be the best pickup, but I'd rather see Moulds back with a better attitude and a lower cap number.

Burleson seems like a real team guy and would be a great compliment to Evans..

If we re-sign Moulds, there is no need to pursue any FA wide receivers. Evans and Parrish are developing nicely and Reed had a good comeback year. Smith is a playmaker and Aiken a very nice special teamer.

None of the guys on this list are clear number 1 receivers, which is what we will need to replace Moulds, unless Evans steps up, and he may be a little small.

if you Keep Moulds you dont need a WR if you let Moulds go I would say Burleson, Joe J is a good 3rd WR but dont know if he would be aa good #2 look at it this way in Seattle if Bobby Engram is ahead of him on the Depth Chart how can ya say he is a solid #2 WR

All we need is a competent #2 to take the heat off Evans. No need to spend more than $3M w/ incentives.

As I've said before, Jurivicious is the only guy that would be able to compliment Lee Evans.

Uh no thanks. He will do what he did before and besides he has some medical issue with his head.

Something about if he takes a good head shot he could loose his sight.

Jurevicious, he's not the best raw talent but he is a disciplined, smart player and he definitely can make plays and make you pay for double teaming the #1. He seems like the kind of guy that Marv would like on the squad.

What about Antonio Bryant. He has good size, good hands and we could get him and at a decent price. He wasnt mentioned in the poll.

vicmantak
01-25-2006, 10:29 PM
Antonio Bryant is a very tentative option but unfortunately he has all the tools to be a paycheck matter. He is a fierce speedy 6-2, +1000 yards reciever whose stats considerably improved when he was shipped to a more cold weather and he should be considered if Moulds doesn't restructure his contract...

Peerless Price is also a viable choice but he is undersized, has some "health" issues.... he has the Ro$enhau$ factor and specially he has some popularity issues here...

Reche Caldwell should has been included on this list. He's a former 2nd round pick, UFA, 6-0, a player on rise and he's still a career non-1000 yarder.
The only question mark is that he seems to be injury prone
