Clements Named GB QB Coach - Favre Suddenly Wants To Retire !

    Coincidence ? I think not .

Favre tells Mort he's leaning towards retirement after the off-season changes.

Favre needs to retire and GB needs ot move past the favre era and rebuild.

GB invested in their future QB last year, so its time for a changing of the guards, and Clements gets ot work with another sophmore QB with little to no NFL experience

I like the username Night Train, is it a James Brown reference. Think I'll jam some James Brown right now on the ole Ipod

LOL! It seems that Favre really knows that his Hall of Fame spot would be exposed on a real silly serious risk factor...

First off smart move by Favre. He needs to retire and that team start the rebuild process.

Second. SMART MOVE BY FAVRE to get as far away from clements as possible!

Farve appears to imply since he is "hesitant " Green Bay should just release him (not have him have to pay back signing bonus). I think Farve is thinking of playing but does not want to play for Green Bay nor pay back portion of signing bonus if he retires.

            Clements is meaningless to Farve.
Do you actually think Farve would listen to anything Clements would try to tell him?

I think Favre will be back for one more year.. He's all about the drama, and I doubt he will go out on a 4-12 record.

And your right, I'd love to hear Favre's reaction the first time Tom tells him something he's not interested in hearing.

Check please. Thank you. Tom will only bring Favre down. Unless Favre is really dying inside to play, his rep stands more to lose by having another year like this one. He's proved it all. Go out as high as you can now, why risk another year with GB? They fired the coach they had with a winning record. How bad can things be there?
