    Anyone want to torture themselves?

Super Bowl XXVIII is on ESPN right now and it's at halftime with the Bills clinging onto a 13-6 lead. We all know how that turns out.

I still think that if they were more aggressive right before halftime and gone for a TD instead of playing for the FG, the outcome would have been different.

yeah, that field goal hurt them. sure, they had the lead, but it would have been better if they went into halftime with a 2 score lead instead of only 7 points.

They just laid down and settled for the FG. Didn't even take one shot.

I love Marv, but he was outcoached in every SB.

yeah he was. Super Bowl XXV was not Norwood's fault, because it shouldn't have come down to that. They should have run the ball more with Thurman Thomas. He was having a damn good game.

Norwood has one job in life. To kick the ball though the upright.

47 yards was beyond his range..everyone who know anything about Norwood knows that

no need to get mean phil. Plus you shouldn't be in the NFL if you cant kick 47 yards.

our offense back then didn't usually need long distance FGs..but our defense decided they were playing touch football with the Giants WRs...besides, Scotty won us a lot of games in his time here

                          Agreed

I have no sympathy for kickers who miss field goals. Thats thier only job to put it through the up rights. Say what you want he should of made the 47 yarder

And thats the truth FBH i could see if it was 53 yards or even 47 yards with a 15 mph wind blowing in his face. Point is i have no sympathy for kickers and i all my friends said to me later was this and it's simple
