ESPN.com has a list for the WORST SUPER BOWL performances of all times and Thurman Thomas, Jim Kelly, and Scott Norwood made it. Thurman Thomas made it twice!

Can't argue with them. They choked and there's nothing we can do about it.

Yeah, but there has been worse. Just because the Bills lost 4 Super Bowls...they are always picked first for stupid polls like this one! :madcurse:

I would only remove Scott Norwood from the list. He was asked to make a 47 yarder- the edge of his range.

Many more FG kickers missed more kicks from a lot closer range -

It's not like he blew an extra point or two or missed from 30 yards out.

I agree with you Dozer it was Kelly's fault for not getting them into a better range for Norwood. Norwood is now an emotional basket case because Kelly set him up to fail.

Thurman's performances weren't very good in those games. I saw a lot worse performances than Kelly's statistically. Norwood shouldn't have even been named. You know they are going to pick out the superstars that people will remember and those guys had terrible games. Notice how all the players with two exceptions were high profile offensive players. The two exceptions, Norwood (the most famous missed field goal in history) and Eugene Robinson was only there because of the soliciting charge on the day before. How about that Chargers defense against the Niners? How about that Junior Seau guy?
