I can think of about 15,000 soldiers and families that are more deserving than Buttchin Brady.

02-03-2006, 11:16 AM
I hope he stares in awe with his mouth open at his majestic coin flip. Meanwhile the coin drops into his mouth, lodges into his throat and he ends up choking on that *****.

No current NFL player should be honored in this way! This just shows the league's unabashed favoritism of Brady and the Pats.

I think it should be a soldier

Hold on a sec. Let's see the good here: it will absolutely KILL him to be there knowing he won’t be playing in the game.

(Maybe he’ll **** it up and switch to a rock-paper-scissors theme at the last sec.)

I am pretty sure there will be a ton of Steeler fans there. I can't see them exactly cheering for Brady...Maybe he is Detroit to have Jeff Garcia show him the sites...

The league probably figures he has tons of fans in Detroit since he went to U of M.

This is BS !! They need a celeb or someone in the military to do it.

AndreReed83
02-03-2006, 05:24 PM
Could they not get Steve Largent and Franco Harris or something? That would have been a lot cooler and classier.

tat2dmike77
02-03-2006, 05:37 PM
I wonder if this is the NFL way of saying to them were sorry you got your butt kicked in the playoffs and that we didn't call that INT a touchback even though it really wouldn't of mattered

I think this is the NFL's way of telling Tom Brady he's going to be a part of the Super Bowl every year, one way or the either.

Seriously, this is totally wrong. How do you think the Bills, Dolphins, and Jets gotta feel about this? "Hey, we gotta face this guy twice a season for many years to come, and the NFL think's he's important enough to get to do the coin flip. Riiiight, NFL bias for the Patriots is as strong as ever." I mean, holy **** NFL! How the hell do you pick a player who is STILL playing the game to do the coin flip for the biggest game of the year? What qualifies him over other great current players? NFL fans all over should be afraid for next year. (Oh yea, don't forget that Belichik is doing the pregame show for the Super Bowl.)

Ok so reading that article they couldn't get jerry rice joe montana marcus allen terry bradshaw bartt starr john riggins and so on to do the coin toss it had to be brady and branch smells like a bunch of doo doo to me.

AndreReed83
02-03-2006, 05:57 PM
How could they not get Bradshaw or at least Riggins? Both have been in Detroit all week and will be at the game.

Well considering this is the 40 th Super Bowl Bart Starr should be doing the coin toss in my opinion

Bart Starr would be a great choice. I've met him before and as great of a player as he was, he's an even greater person.

L.A. Playa
02-03-2006, 06:08 PM
well he was the MVP of Super Bowl 1 & 2 and just lettin gBrady doing it himself though deserving because he is a 2 time Super Bowl MVP he should not be singled out alone considering that Terry Bradshaw won 2 MVP's and Joe Montana won 3 MVP's and Bart Starr won 2 what makes Brady's so much more special that he should be singled out other than the fact that he sold his oul to the devil, and here is another factor these things are usually decided months in advance what if the Patriots where in the game would he still have tossed the coin ??

tat2dmike77
02-03-2006, 06:09 PM
No if the patriots were in the game then he would be giving paul tagliabue a hot oil massage.

I'll be turning on the tv 5 minutes after it starts. I'll also be watching something else at half time, so I won't have to look at Mick Jagger. He looks older than Ralph Wilson.

Why are the rolling stones doing the halftime show. I mean they used to be cool in the 60's and 70's now thier just getting annoying.

I still can't believe that some women still find Mick Jagger :bam: attractive. I think the NFL does a horrible job with the half time show. I mean just make it a regular half time i don't care about the half time show at all.

Thats usually the time to make more food. Or run up to the corner store and buy more

Do I lie?

He was gonna be sacked before his hand went upward to make the coin toss but the refs already said the tuck rule was in effect.

But I know one thing the game wasnt the only ugly thing friggin Mick Jagger was there and doubled the ugliness of the SB last night.
