Art Festival Bust!

Never enter an art fest in August especially when the temp is in the 90's and the humidity is high. I've seen more people at a yard sale!!! I only sold one piece, the guy to my right sold 2 small ones, to my left none, and across none. Hardly any of the venders sold anything. It was a major disappointment for my first experience, but I'm glad it's behind me now!

We had a slowpitch tournament yesterday and played 5 games. It was almost unbarable.

Sorry to hear of your lack of sales, Mybills. :( But at least you were able to sell something and you know it wasn't your art, it was the weather. When it's that hot no one feels like doing much of anything. Keep your spirits up and things will be better the next time. :)

I did meet a lot of people so that was nice. Their compliments were an ego boost too. :) Also, I was asked to do a show in September when the weather breaks, but that would cut into my Sunday football...I won't even think of doing that.:D Maybe I'll try again next Spring!
