John Clayton said today if Miami trades Ricky and Edge becomes a FA then Miami will be a serious destination for Edge.

No one is saying that, but it's common knowledge Edge likes Miami and wants to play there.

That won't happen. Clayton wasn't thinking. He seemed to have forgot that we have Ronnie Brown on our roster. It doesn't make sense to trade Ricky(who is playing for the Vet min) just to sign another Running back for a huge contract when we already have Brown. Unless Saban can trick Edge into taking a very small contract, there is NOWAY he plays for the Dolphins. It doesn't make sense from a financial view or playing time view.

Why are we discussing an article that is a year and a half old?

It is a Bills fan's weak attempt at smack I believe.

I was actually wondering all this.

Ronnie Brown is well on his way to being an elite back, and keep ricky or not I dont get why theres any chatter about another RB. I have heard this a few times, Miami is set at RB.

And with Ricky playing for bare minimum Unless he netted a nice selection of draft picks he doesnt need to be moved either.

Maybe, maybe not. Why is that necessarily the TRUE Ricky and not the Ricky who played before and after qutting for a year. Only Ricky knows what is going on in that mind of his

What is wrong with R Brown? I would be friggin pissed if they brought in another guy.

Personally Edge isn't worth it. From what I saw on that NFLN interview he still acts like a kid 10 years younger than what he is, isn't that good on the field anymore either.

I agree. I mean it is nice to have two good backs but give Ronnie a chance to carry the rock. We have Kay-Jay Harris around if Ricky goes away. He could be a good back-up. I don't want Edge in Miami especially after his little show with Willis and Champ the other day
