Talk about salt in the wound.

Roethlisberger told Letterman that he didn't think he scored on a controversial play in the second quarter that put the Steelers ahead for good 7-3. Roethlisberger dove toward the end zone but didn't appear to get the ball to touch the goal line. But officials on the field signaled touchdown.
"I told Coach, 'I don't think I got in,'" Roethlisberger told Letterman. "But we were getting ready to go for it on fourth down anyway, and I would have run it again. So we would have found a way to get in."

Rome keeps saying Seahawks didn't get any big stops...that sure looked like a big stop to me!

Just more ammo for the seahawks about the poor officiating

something does need to be done about the officiating, but unfortunately the NFL knows we're like a bunch of crack addicts when it comes to football and they've got us right where they want us - in their pockets.

but sooner or later, fans of teams like the Bills are gonna get fed up (see the Sunday Night game against the Pats - Lee Evans gets robbed of a clear catch, the Pats get awarded a couple of completed passes that hit the ground, and Moulds' BS offensive PI call late in the game) and the NFL will start to lose money - maybe then they'll do something about it - any volunteers to boycott the NFL?

I actually thought the ball just barely broke the plane before the Seachicken defender hit Big Ben's arm/hand/ball and drove it back.

And I'm a Steeler hater and no fan of NFL officiating, either. Some of the other calls were far worse.

yeah well seattle would have stopped them again. On every down on that drive the DL had penetration into the backfield. That OL got NO push down there.
