with FA just 3 weeks away anyone know when these team get to designate their franchise tags if they decide to do so. is there a date soon where teams can drop the tag on someone?

Actually, it is Feb 23rd. That link you gave is for 2005, not 2006.

I wondered about that...I found 2 different links...that one looked more official sounding so I used that one :lol:
